About About
Andrea Alarcón Sojet

I'm a recent graduate from the Oxford Internet Institute. I am a researcher and a journalist by trade. I think that the internet has the power to save the world from poverty. No, really, I do.

You can follow me wherever I go. If you are looking for something more serious you can go here , or here. I blog my feminist views at Femination. And also my travel adventures.

I am from Bogotá, Colombia, but have been living in the United States for a while. I am interested in the use of media for development projects, ICT4D, beating online language barries and community driven international development.

As for fun, I like wine tasting, yoga, trying food from every corner of the planet, coffee, rock music, guitar playing and independent films. I also speak Spanish, English and French fluently.
